A two volume set discussing historical pirates and privateering. These volumes cover the “golden age of piracy” in the Caribbean basin from 1650 to 1725. Each era of piracy is further documented with a chronology and a bibliography, and a glossary provides helpful definitions for unfamiliar terms.
