Tip:  Use the Gale Virtual Reference Collection to obtain an overarching history of the Cold War. Next, consider searching just the reference set Cold War for background information on a precise topic related to the Cold War (i.e. Cuba, Stalin, Refugees).

From there, search for your precise topic in the library’s ebook collections and news/newspaper collections.
