So, here we are, at that time of year when everyone is thinking about making resolutions, the old “New Year, New You” pressure that we all put on ourselves to become “better”. How about this year, we think about taking care of ourselves instead? Taking care of yourself – being kind to yourself, just as you are – can increase your self-confidence, your productivity, and your happiness. Check out these eight different types of self care and think about ways that you can incorporate them into your everyday routine. Get a good night’s sleep. Practice gratitude. Take a walk on one of the many SPS trails. Learn something new. Hang out with friends. Sometimes the smallest change can make the biggest difference.
