This winter we were thrilled to host Third Formers from Physics First, St. Paul’s introductory science course. Research & Instruction Librarian Ms. LaFlamme and Research & Outreach Librarian Ms. Seymour taught students to find, evaluate, and cite sources for their poster presentations on STEM scholars from underrepresented groups. This assignment was an opportunity to reflect on the life, contributions, and significance of social activists in the sciences. We wish we had space to share all of the great posters that came from this project! Here are just a few examples from Ms. Ruane’s sections, created by Ingrid Cassidy ’25, Olivia Hu ’25, and Matteo Lorenzo-Giguere ’25.
