Visiting Poet Safia Elhillo
Students are welcome to a poetry workshop with Safia Elhillo in the Baker Reading Room. Pizza will be served. In addition to her lunch workshop, Safia will speak to the entire student body at Chapel and meet with classes. Safia is the author of The January Children (University of Nebraska Press 2017) and a contributor to Poetry Magazine and numerous anthologies. Author Ann Patchett at CCA
Gibson’s Bookstore, in partnership with the Capitol Center for the Arts and New Hampshire Public Radio, brings international best-selling author Ann Patchett to the CCA main stage for an evening of literary discussion with NHPR’s Peter Biello. They’ll discuss her newest novel, The Dutch House, a richly moving story that explores the indelible bond between two siblings, the house of their childhood, and a past that will not let them go.
